Role: We are looking for a QA Associate with foundational knowledge of Java testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) and Spring Boot, specifically in the context of payments, transfers, and banking applications. You will be responsible for functional testing, API testing, and API automation testing to ensure the quality and performance of our financial services applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test cases for payments, transfers, and banking applications, focusing on functional testing.
- Perform API testing and automation of APIs related to financial transactions, ensuring proper communication between systems.
- Conduct regression and integration testing using Java testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG).
- Collaborate with development teams to improve quality and identify issues in financial systems and APIs.
- Contribute to the development of test automation scripts and frameworks, focusing on API automation for payment systems.
- Ensure software meets regulatory and security standards for financial transactions.
- Report and track defects using test management and issue tracking tools.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of Java testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG) and Spring Boot.
- Experience in functional testing, API testing, and API automation testing (REST, SOAP).
- Familiarity with testing financial systems, payments, and banking applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
- Knowledge of other testing tools like Selenium or Postman.
- Understanding of payment gateways, banking protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., PSD2, SAMA regulations).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Previous experience in QA, particularly in payments, transfers, or banking, is preferred.
