RESPONSIBILITIES

The main purpose of the role is to develop and support Python projects and functions, as well as complete specific client project work and miscellaneous tasks. This role involves using established work procedures to analyze, design, develop, implement, maintain, re-engineer, and troubleshoot customer applications. Your primary focus will be the development of robust, scalable, and high-performance server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for writing reusable, testable, and efficient code, designing, and implementing low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications. You will integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic, implement security and data protection measures, and deploy solutions in cloud environments.

The successful Senior Python Developer will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, supporting other developers, implementing software enhancements, and suggesting improvements to create high-quality products that meet customer needs. Additionally, there is an opportunity to work on MLOps, deploying and managing machine learning models in production environments.

REQUIREMENTS

• Extensive experience with Python and deep knowledge of at least one Python web framework (Django, Flask, etc.).
• Proven experience in cloud technologies, with a focus on Azure and possibly AWS, including the ability to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions.
• Optional experience or knowledge in MLOps.
• Strong experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Proven experience in developing web-based user interfaces and integrating them with server-side logic.
• Good understanding of server-side templating and the ability to optimize output for different delivery platforms.
• Ability to create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
• Strong unit test and debugging skills, ensuring high-quality code.
• Strong analytical skills and good attention to detail.
• A keen interest in the latest technologies and a demonstrable desire to push the boundaries of what is possible.
