This full-time, in-office role will focus on the strategic management and execution of technical projects that align with our technology goals and client needs.
- Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring that all project phases are executed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and project plans, collaborating closely with development teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance, providing regular status reports and updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Facilitate communication among project teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement efforts within the project management framework.
- Champion best practices in project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical and software project management.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and project management methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent certification.
- Experience with cloud computing technologies and integrations.
- Knowledge of financial services or electronic payments environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
