The Senior Project Manager role is a member of the Strategic Programs Team within the DBRS Morningstar Credit Group and is responsible for managing various Projects across the spectrum of Credit Operations, including within Programs related to Methodology & Analytics Governance, Business process and continuity, Risk Management and Technology.
An ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. As Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for coordinating project(s) from inception to execution, which includes planning, execution and managing the people, resources, timeline and scope of the Project. In this role, you will work with Credit Analysts, Credit Quantitative, Credit Practices, Credit Technology, Risk Management, the Internal Review Function and the Product Owners & Data Engineering for the Analytical Platform, Data Lake, Insight and Ratings Engine Teams.
This candidate will need to be comfortable with working across multiple teams with multiple activities occurring at the same time. The role is based in Mumbai.
Job Responsibilities• Develop, manage and execute project plans with cross-functional teams, facilitating effective communication with Senior Stakeholders and ensuring the project's overall success• Define and manage project scope• Draft and execute project communications• Lead Project kick-offs, key milestone meetings, status meetings and agile ceremonies• Proactively identify risks and potential issues, managing mitigation plans and escalations to leadership when appropriate• Adhere to Credit Policies, Procedures, Guidance and Standards• Facilitate Agile development processes, serving as scrum master when required
Qualifications• Highly efficient, detail-oriented individual who is effective in fast paced environments and can manage theirs and others' work across multiple functions• 5+ years of Project Management experience, ideally within Technology• Experience working directly with business users and communicating with Product and IT teams• Good understanding of system integration lifecycle• Good understanding and experience in Agile development• Strong written and oral communication skills• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field
Nice to have• Familiarity with quantitative analytics and regression model terminology/development is a nice to have• Familiarity with Risk Management and Risk Project Management
