The Role

QuartzBio (www.quartz.bio ) is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions provider to the life sciences industry. We deliver innovative, data enabling technologies (i.e., software) that provide biotech/pharma (R&D) teams with enterprise-level access to sample/biomarker data management solutions & analytics, information, insight & reporting capabilities.
Our end-to-end (from sample collection to biomarker data) suite of solutions are focused on providing sponsors information (data with context) – we do this by connecting biospecimen, assay as well as clinical data sources in a secure and scalable cloud-based infrastructure, enabling seamless, automated data management workflows, key insight development, improved collaboration, and the ability to make faster, more informed decisions.

Position Summary:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the successful deployment and implementation of SaaS solutions for mid-to-large-size customers. You will be responsible for managing project scope, schedules, risks, and communications across cross-functional teams, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer expectations. From planning and execution to closure and value realization, you will drive every phase of the project lifecycle. This role also requires strong stakeholder engagement, executive reporting, and coordination with vendors and internal technical teams. In addition, you will contribute to process improvement, mentor junior team members, and support strategic initiatives across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deployment & Implementation: Lead deployments for mid- to mid-to-large-size customers. Work directly with technical teams to ensure seamless integration. Ensure seamless integration by collaborating with technical teams.
  • Project Planning: Own project planning aligning with business objective and contract. Develop and own project plans aligned with business objectives and contracts including complex schedules with task dependencies, resource allocations, and stakeholder maps.
  • Project Execution & Monitoring: Independently manage project scope, milestones, and blockers using JIRA, Freshdesk, and Smartsheet. Report progress against KPIs. 
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and secure stakeholder alignment.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary contact for mid-to-large-tier clients, ensuring clear, timely communication with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Drive alignment through structured kickoffs, milestone reviews, and status updates.
  • Product & Technical Expertise: Apply strong understanding of SaaS products and liaise with product/development teams to troubleshoot implementation issues.
  • Reporting & Presentations: Prepare and present executive-level project updates and customer status reports. Deliver executive-level project updates and customer reports, highlighting value realization and outcomes.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage projects and initiatives with moderate complexity. Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making. Mentor junior team members and provide guidance. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve skills and contribute to team and process improvement. Contribute to PMO best practices and standardization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in project management or related field operating in a software or software as a service organization.
  • 3-5 years' experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal, and/or external).
  • 1-3 years' experience leading technical projects and preferred in clinical trials 
  •  Preferred PMP certification
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to articulate ideas and write clear and concise reports.

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.
