The position
As our new PAS-X Senior Project Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will together with fellow project managers drive the local implementation of PAS-X at our brand new Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) plant in Hillerød by:

  • Managing the local PAS-X team of recipe designers etc. (you will not have people management responsibility, but you will be responsible for leading the way).
  • Ensuring system deliveries by working closely with our central Novo Nordisk PAS-X delivery team
  • Ensuring precise gathering and qualification of requirements by working closely with local process people: Operation Responsibles, Engineering Responsibles and QA.
  • Ensuring system integrations by working closely with project managers from other system teams: SAP ECC (later S/4HANA), SAP EWM, Emerson DeltaV and others.
  • Planning and controlling time, scope, cost, resources etc.
  • Communicating plans, status and progress to the organization.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, pharmacy, or a similar field.
  • +5 years of experience with project management, both waterfall and agile.
  • Experience working within production support, preferably with knowledge of API in a GMP-regulated environment. Experience with validation/qualification is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of production recipes in MES systems (PAS-X) from production.
  • Experience with automation, digitalization, and integration in a regulated and automated production environment is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

About the department
Our team is working to expand the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity of our Biotech production in Hillerød. You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk - and when finished, the facility will employ approximately 340 colleagues. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity for our portfolio of clinical late-phase products to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases, including rare diseases.
