About the Position
Dexis Professional Services is recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the provision of business and economic analysis services for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) National Business Emergency Operations Center (NBEOC). The NBEOC is responsible for improving and directing information-sharing between government partners and business leaders, stakeholders, and organizations before, during and after disasters. The Center works to connect state, local, tribal and territorial governments with their relevant FEMA regional office as well as NBEOC’s national business and industry network.
This position will direct all contractor operations and activities to solve critical issues faced by NBEOC in business and economic recovery and supply chain analysis. The Senior Project Manager will leverage their experience and understanding of emergency disaster management, the current business and industry landscape, and program management for US Government projects to develop and maintain an up-to-date NBEOC Data Dashboard, a web-based portal providing business, industry, and global supply chain data during the entire disaster lifecycle, in support of FEMA activities. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior consultant to the contracting officer and contracting officer’s representative with direct oversight and management of the contract.
- Develop and adjust program activities, including data analysis, communications activities, and stakeholder engagement, in response to contractual objectives.
- Maintain exceptional responsiveness to the contracting officer and contracting officer’s representative.
- Provide technical recommendations drawing from experience in emergency disaster management.
- Monitor quality and timeliness of contract performance, identifying areas for improvement and responsively implementing solutions.
- Oversee the completion and final review of all document deliverables including training plans, SOPs, dashboards, progress reports, and more.
- Coordinate all travel activities for Contractor personnel.
- Ensure program activities adhere to FEMA’s Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan.
- Ensure that the NBEOC Data Dashboard maintains an exceptional availability rate.
- Ensure that all Contractor personnel understand and abide by DHS rules, regulations, and policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the emergency disaster management field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, advanced degree preferred.
- Significant experience with program management, especially for US Government projects.
- Thorough knowledge of FEMA activities, processes, and procedures.
- Possession of an active Public Trust clearance preferred.
Below is the pay range aligned with this position. When developing a range, Dexis evaluates compensation holistically, triangulating between external market research, our budget for the position, and internal equity to arrive at a figure that is fair and competitive. Offers within this range will be based on an individual candidate's qualification, relevant education and experience, skills, performance, and organizational needs.
Dexis pay range for this role:
$118,000—$136,000 USD
