Group Summary
Magna is an innovative leader in the development and manufacturing of seating structures, foam and trim, mechanisms, and complete seats for global automotive, heavy truck and bus industries. Seating is at the center of the consumer vehicle experience and our seating solutions are developed from consumer research, prioritizing comfort, convenience and connectivity.
Your Responsibilities
- Management of Seat Systems design and development activities
- Responsible for component selection, engineering calculations and designs in accordance with relevant standards in new product development or existing product improvement projects
- Perform root cause analysis for improvements at project stages, develop alternatives and manage the process end-to-end until results are obtained,
- Provide trainings and contribute to the development of the team
- Researching technical issues, writing articles, attending conferences
- Coordinate the projects with other departments, execute them in accordance with the plan and reporting regularly
Your Profile
- Graduated from University from Engineering Department, Master or Doctorate Degree/Student is a must
- Min. 5 years of experience in similar position
- Good level of English knowledge
- Analytical thinking, problem solving, strong written and verbal communication, effective time management,
- Planning and coordination skills, presentation and reporting skills,
- Preferably experienced in automotive seat systems,
- Experienced in Ford OTOSAN product commissioning systems
- Experienced in technical drawing standards, specification reading, interpretation, critical dimensions and tolerances and PLM systems
- Catia and SAP knowledge will be an asset
- R&D center procedure and operation knowledge will be an asset
- No travel restrictions,
