We are currently looking for a Senior Analog Design Engineer Engineer to support our customers within the Strategic Microelectronics Division at Naval Surface Warfare Center - Crane. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing complex software and database applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that project goals are met.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex software and database applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met
- Develop, maintain and improve the software development life cycle
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- Expertise in at least one programming language such as Java, Python or C#
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members, stakeholders and clients
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and provide technical guidance and mentorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified
- Familiarity with Blazor web framework
- Experience with cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Current Secret or Top Secret DoD security clearance.
