Are you passionate about innovation and driving transformative growth? As a Senior Program Manager for our Digital/IoT portfolio, you will champion the way in bringing cutting-edge products to market and shaping the future of our technology-driven offerings.

In this role, you will oversee product development projects, manage platform roadmaps, and execute continuous improvement initiatives that drive cost savings and operational excellence. You’ll collaborate across diverse teams—Engineering (Hardware, Firmware, Software), Marketing, Sales, Industrial Design, and Global Operations—to ensure seamless project execution and successful product launches.

The ideal candidate has 7-10 years of experience managing electromechanical and product development projects, with strong skills in problem-solving, managing budgets, and working with global teams. Proficient in Microsoft tools and familiar with engineering processes like FMEA and DFMA, they excel at guiding cross-functional teams and delivering results in fast-paced environments. Adaptable and detail-oriented, they are ready to travel as needed and drive successful project outcomes.

This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with all work performed in North Olmsted, OH, Maumee, OH, Deerfield, IL, Oak Creek, WI, or Meriden, CT.

What you will be doing:

  • Guide cross-functional teams to deliver platform projects from start to finish.
  • Use the Fortune Brands Product Development Process to design and launch products that meet cost, quality, timing, and customer standards.
  • Drive product development and supply chain activities, focusing on speed to market, budgets, and product costs.
  • Act as the main point of contact for Global Product Development with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Ensure projects launch on time, meet deliverables, and stay within budget.
  • Collaborate across teams (Engineering, Marketing, Operations) to streamline innovation and platforming efforts.
  • Oversee team performance and manage risks to meet project goals.
  • Provide regular updates through executive reviews and reports.
  • Conduct post-launch reviews to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and manage critical resources to achieve results. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience managing electromechanical and new product development projects.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 15%).
  • Experience with budgeting and financial metrics for large-scale projects.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge in electromechanics and statistics.
  • Familiarity with engineering tools and principles: FMEA, DOE, QFD, DFA, and DFMA.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes like sheet metal, injection molding, casting, and designing for manufacturability.
  • Ability to estimate costs and communicate risks, benefits, and concepts to senior leadership.
