The Position
As a Senior Production Engineer, for the Injection Moulding Machine Area (IMM-area), you will be working in our moulding production in Device Component Manufacturing (DCM) in Hillerød.
As a member of the Equipment & Automation Support team, you will have the role of Senior IMM Equipment Responsible for our 44 injection moulding machines, involved in the production of plastic components for the FlexTouch® injection device.
Our team is working on strategic life cycle management project, replacing our outdated IMM's with new high tech generation moulding machines. You will have a key role in this, working with URS, development, testing, installation, validation and qualification of the new lines, as well as decommissioning of the old lines.
One of the responsibilities is to work on improving our processes for maximum output in the right quality, in close collaboration with skilled workers, other engineers and maintenance responsible persons, both within the team, the department and across the factory. Shop floor related tasks, follow-ups and coordination, will also be a part of daily tasks.
By being in touch with many different processes and equipment, there is a chance to learn about many core aspects of our production. Therefore, you will be able to provide new ideas and strategic suggestions for improvements to the way we work, making a positive impact for colleagues and ultimately our patients.
The main tasks will be to:• Lead strategic projects and large-scale Life Cycle Management.• Take care of specification, implementation, testing and validation of our new generation Injection Moulding Machines (IMM's), while also decommissioning outdated IMM's.• Be responsible for ensuring validated state, GMP compliance and readiness for inspection/audit.• Ensure spare part strategy and supplier collaboration, with systematic problem solving and other LEAN improvements.• Provide technical support and guidance to the production, while also participating in deviations or customer complaints and handle change requests.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position you should:• Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, electrical, production engineering, or a similar field.• Have solid experience working with technical equipment within a pharmaceutical company or similar production environment, stakeholder management and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).• Experience with moulding- and validation processes, which is considered a plus.• Enjoy technical problem solving and have strong communication skills.• Proficiency in written and spoken English, while proficiency in Danish is considered an advantage.
This position could be taken up by a senior mechanical-, production, electrical engineer or similar.
On a personal level, you are ambitious, proactive and able to interact with people at all levels in the local organization. Having technical understanding and the ability to solve problems systematically, independently and through cooperation when applicable are key in this role.
A detail-oriented and structured approach will be beneficial, but it's equally important to maintain a broader perspective, completing tasks and coordinating activities swiftly and effectively with other teams and stakeholders. Ultimately, the ideal candidate is a dynamic and enthusiastic team player who is adaptable and ready to go the extra mile to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
About the department
Based in Hillerød, Denmark, we operate a production of 44 injection moulding machines, and four assembly lines, producing more than 150 million motor modules for the FlexTouch® pen device every year. We also introduce and mature new products and technology to the benefit of other Novo Nordisk production sites worldwide. Our equipment also includes different generations of robots, laser decoration equipment, vision, raw material plant and various utility equipment.
The department consists of highly engaged operators, skilled workers, process- and mould engineers, quality supporters, validation specialists and administrative workers.
