Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Quality Engineer to join our team. You will focus on New Product Introduction (NPI) and Post Sales activities, ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. You will evaluate technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensure activities and items comply with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Perform analysis and identify trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions. Ensure that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. Ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards such as ISO regulations. Analyze the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records. You will report to the MANAGER, PRODUCT QUALITY , The team is international and consists of 6 people in different locations.
Role is located in Katowice - Poland.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams to support New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Develop and implement quality plans, inspection criteria, and test methods for new products.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
- Analyze post-sales product performance and customer feedback.
- Work with manufacturing and development teams to resolve quality issues and improve product reliability.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to quality and reliability aspects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, evaluate technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products.
- Ensure activities and products comply with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations.
- Perform analysis and identify trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials, and bulk raw materials, and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure that established manufacturing processes are followed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product quality engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, and Six Sigma).
- Excellent problem-solving skills..
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes.
- Product Development process (Design, testing, and commercialization/Use) Desirable.
- Agile Methodology knowledge (desirable)
- Familiarity with post-sales support and customer feedback analysis.
- Certification in quality engineering ( CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt).
