Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Product Quality Engineer, to work onsite in Whitestown, Indiana. As a Senior Product Quality Engineer, you will be the head of the Quality Assurance Team ensuring a seamless Warranty process, you will manage the warranty return process for our top products, reviewing and analyzing customer warranties for failure mode and responsibility, and funnel projects to reduce the NA Global Warranty Cost. You will communicate trends and lead improvement teams. Assist on process claims for payment and communicate data trends to our company for continual improvement. You will ensure that all warranty returns are handled efficiently, root causes of quality issues are identified, and corrective actions are implemented to prevent recurrence. You will report to the Manager, Product Quality.
Your Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the processing of warranty returns for Rockwell's top 10 products.
- Analyze returned products to identify causes of quality issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and handle the corrective actions process.
- Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA) on returned products
- Lead continuous improvement (CI) plans within the warranty returns process.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with other teams to lead CI efforts.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and warranty requests
- Collect and analyze data related to warranty returns and quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering in a manufacturing or product-based environment.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency in quality management system and tools.
- Certification in Quality Engineering (CQE).
- Experience troubleshooting Automation products or electrical equipment's (Desirable).
- Experience in handling warranty returns and customer interactions.
