The Role
We are seeking a data-driven and passionate Senior Product Marketing Manager to play a key role in disrupting the home essentials industry with Blueland’s innovative products that champion people and the planet. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will partner with cross-functional teams to successfully strategize and execute new product renovations and extension launches that elevate existing product assortments that resonate with our target audience. The candidate will play a key role in all things product strategy and marketing across multiple touchpoints to drive revenue growth and brand awareness by leveraging consumer insights and market research. This role reports to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
Remote work is possible, but a strong preference for candidates based in New York City or Los Angeles is desired.
Responsibilities:
- Play a leading role in the Company’s go-to-market strategy by being the expert in each product category that Blueland competes in. This expertise will be anchored in consumer research, syndicated data and industry reports.
- Partner with key cross functional stakeholders to drive the and product development process from ideation through execution primarily for renovation and extension projects that help us grow the sales of existing products. both launching new products and optimizing existing assortments
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Innovation, Operations, Brand, Creative, DTC, Amazon and Retail to own and lead new product development calendar, build out annual product roadmap and ensure all channel goals are metConduct market research to identify consumer trends, analyze the competitive landscape, cost targets and emerging opportunities; translate insights into actionable strategies

- Develop and execute consumer insights and product testing surveys and analyze CX data to help drive product improvements and inform NPD strategy
- Collaborate closely across the organization to help develop compelling product positioning, messaging, and packaging direction that align with our mission and resonate with the target channel audience, differentiate from the competitive landscape, and fit within our margin and sales goals
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure consistency in product messaging across all touchpoints, from packaging to retailer to all digital touch points. Be the owner of the product copy library that will serve DTC, Amazon, retail and packaging needs.
- Stay “ahead of the curve” on key market and consumer trends and the competitive landscape in order to help inform Blueland’s future innovation projects with a laser focus on our sustainability mission
- Work closely with Retail, DTC, Amazon, Innovation, Operations and Finance teams to ensure product pricing and assortment is optimized for margin and sales goals as well as positioning within the competitive set
Qualifications:
- Passionate about the environment, sustainability and Blueland’s mission5+ years of Product Marketing or Brand Management experience in the omnichannel CPG space
- Experience with end to end go-to-market strategy and execution for physical productsHighly analytical, detail oriented and organized
- Able to design, execute and analyze quantitative and qualitative consumer, category and product insights studies
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent project management, communication, and people and organization skills
- Experience working with Brand and Creative teams on physical product packaging, sustainable packaging experience a plus
- A desire and humility to always improve, learn and grow
- Advanced proficiency with Google Slides, Powerpoint and Excel is required. Experience with Slack, Google Suite, Asana, and Notion is preferred
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 per year.
