General Description:
Under the direction of the Senior Commercial Director CEEG, the Candidate will have Marketing responsibilities for the regional cluster of the 13 countries of CEEG for the relevant commercial products in scope.
The Candidate will play a key role in ensuring patient access to BeiGene products by communicating global marketing strategy and supporting the local adoption and customization across the cluster, directly or through the control and supervision of local Partners. This will be done by working closely with SRE and Global teams, the CEEG matrix medical and market access and corporate affairs functions and the regional and country commercial and marketing colleagues of the local Partners.
The Product Manager will e the Senior Director CEEG in ensuring BeiGene’s Global and SRE strategy is translated into operational tactics and assets (marketing, promotional and disease awareness/education initiatives) to support the CEEG cluster achieve its targets. The Candidate contributes to developing and implementing the go-to-market strategy across the BeiGene portfolio (incl. Tevimbra) and is responsible for achieving defined commercial targets being supported by defined resources and investment budgets.
Essential Functions of the job:
- Support the Commercial Director in developing the Zanubrutinib (Brukinsa®) as well as Tislelizumab (Tevimbra®) marketing strategy, including any operationalization of omnichannel marketing activities.
- Contribute to cross-functional creation of Partner’s Integrated regional and country Medical, Marketing and Access integrated business plans, and provide input on marketing tactics at a CEEG cluster and country level in alignment with Global brand plan.
- Partner with CEEG Senior Commercial Director and SRE Marketing Leads in market development and marketing pre-launch and launch activities execution to support the local Partners or directly as is relevant.
- Work with agencies, SRE Hem and Solid Tumour Marketing Leads and Commercial leads and Commercial Director, and Local Partners and external stakeholders to design and develop customer-centric promotional tools/materials or carry out/support local adaptations for asset from other countries, owning the development process and deployment and assessing the effectiveness and impact.
- Identify agencies/vendors/technologies/tools that can benefit the execution of tactics
- Participate in and support the CEEG Core team and local partners in preparing BeiGene and Local Partners presence at national congresses, scientific meetings, symposia and workshops
- In close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Market Access, Medical, Commercial Operations and Business Analytics etc.) generate relevant Market Insights (Market Research, Commercial Ad-boards etc.) that help develop targeted tactics and show impact of implemented tools
- Contribute to Commercial Operations activities such as (by not limited to) launch readiness tracking, Business Review preparation, where relevant Customer Relationship Management system implementation and roll-out
- Plan and run regular trainings and updates for Local Partners, working closely with Medical Affairs and Learning & Development and Global teams where possible to find smart solutions to leverage these trainings for relevant Local Partner personnel
- Own and manage the Marketing budget for CEEG; own project management (contracts, invoicing, communication) for commercial activities and projects together with admin support
- Working with the Senior Commercial Director and Finance colleagues ensure effective financial planning and review results to identify variances; develop action plans to address issues. Manage expenses to budget and deliver targeted profit contribution.
- Support the Senior Commercial Director in establishing strong relationships and provide support as required to help colleagues engage with major stakeholders in the field like relevant regulatory bodies, payers, politicians, industry associations, and distributors and Key Opinion Leaders thereby supporting the CEEG team and wider organization in achieving its goals and objectives.
- Ensure regular tracking and clear, meaningful reporting of relevant KPIs and overall performance of key BeiGene and Local Partner initiatives, as well as market changes/competitor activities which are relevant to strategy implementation and development
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset to ensure solutions and improvements are rapidly identified to optimize launch and improve patient access especially related to the way of working and performance management of the local Partners (s)
- Operate in line with BeiGene’s Code of Conduct and relevant policies for commercial and promotional activities to maintain the highest standards of patients focused ethical conduct
- Participate as an effective member of the of the CEEG Matrix Leadership team supporting the CEEG commercial Director to ensure and Local Partner Annual Integrated Business Plan has Commercial and Marketing elements are fully aligned to global strategy and tactics
- Actively seek ways that Local Partner launches can benefit from the best practices and learnings from the essential functions of broader SRE and European Markets
- Support the Senior Commercial Director in any Go To Market assessment and any subsequent project team deployed to select and contract with Local Partners with special focus related to the marketing capabilities of any local Partner or marketing aspects of the project.
Qualifications:
- University undergraduate degree in science or business as a minimum; higher qualifications (MD, PhD, MBA) advantageous.
- 7+ years of related experience
- Standard Computer Skills required (MS Office)
- Fluency in both verbal and written English and German, any Eastern European language an advantage plus experience working in regional role.
