Position Overview

Become a key contributor within the Identity & Licensing organization as a Product Manager, where the mission is to establish a reliable and scalable platform for Identity & Access Management (IAM), Licensing, and License Compliance across all Autodesk products and services. These essential capabilities deliver seamless and compliant experiences for users, customers, and partners interacting with Autodesk.

The role emphasizes promoting a ‘Platform First’ approach—building a cohesive, API-accessible platform that delivers consistent user experiences for clearly defined personas. Additionally, you will help drive insights into customer product interactions, uncovering opportunities for new revenue streams and personalized user experiences.

As a Product Manager for Identity & Access Management, you will leverage your IAM domain expertise to guide product strategy, define solutions, and deliver products that align with customer needs and market demand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a clear product vision by formulating hypotheses to meet business objectives across multiple Autodesk products and services
  • Advocate for your product vision across the organization, effectively communicating with technical teams and executive-level leadership
  • Incorporate customer needs, business objectives, UX insights, usability studies, customer feedback, research, and market analysis into the product strategy, roadmap, and requirements
  • Collaborate with Agile-based Scrum teams to ensure successful execution of product requirements
  • Define and monitor key metrics to facilitate data-driven decision-making both pre- and post-launch, ensuring anticipated outcomes and impact are achieved

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in platform product management, with specific expertise in Identity Management platforms—either from a vendor or enterprise perspective
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to draw relevant insights from ambiguous data to validate assumptions, drive decisions, and deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Experience in API definition and a solid understanding of system and data architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience collaborating within a global organization across multiple time zones
  • Ability to promote and “sell” product change internally across all levels, acting as an advocate for the Identity platform
  • BA/BS degree with 6+ years of experience in product management or equivalent field

The Ideal Candidate

  • Customer-focused mindset with exceptional product management expertise.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively promote the Identity platform to both technical teams and business leadership.
  • Domain expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) as a Product Manager.
  • Passionate about driving platform improvements and delivering impactful user experiences.
