We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to oversee the product lifecycle for our Behavioral Health Members Navigation across multiple channels (i.e. Customer Service, Portals, Provider Directory, Marketing, Public Relations, Vendors, and Member Engagement). This role involves leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization to ensure a simple yet seamless navigation for our members seeking various services for all of their behavioral health needs. This role is also be responsible for delivering innovative solutions that enhance the user experience at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota!
A Day in the Life:
- Product Strategy and Roadmap: Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for our Navigation areas, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptation to market changes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with provider networks, technology, design, marketing, and other teams to develop and deliver high-quality products.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and members, to gather feedback and ensure product alignment with user needs.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to inform product decisions, track performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful product delivery.
- Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation by staying informed about industry trends and incorporating best practices into product development.
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, technical degree or a relevant field
- Previous leadership experience
- Health or managed care experience
- MBA or equivalent education/certifications
- Previous experience in product development or product management role
- One of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), SAFe PM/PO, Agile Certified Product Manager (ACPMA) or LeSS
Required Skills & Experiences:
- 5+ years of Product Management and/or Product Ownership experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
- Aptitude for independent strategic thinking as well as the ability to identify, leverage, and execute best practices while demonstrating a continuously innovative mindset.
- Critical strategic thinker / problem solver willing to take initiative with minimal direction.
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) and executive presence.
- Proven strategic product development ability
- Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties
- Exceptional leadership skills
Note: The Product Manager role is more strategic in the organization and will be fewer of them supporting the organization. This role is key to providing strategic direction across multiple teams or strategic initiatives. We expect more Product Owners across the organization responsible for helping focus on product specific strategy and enabling delivery of key outcomes.

Hybrid Remote
Role designation definition: Teleworking is working full time remote. Hybrid is a combination of working onsite and remotely. Onsite is full-time onsite.
