Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the critical Disruption Initiative to strategically establish Omio USPs, aimed at enhancing traveller control and confidence during disruptions. This role will be pivotal in executing our USP plan. We need a highly organised and driven individual with a strong product management background to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure the successful delivery of MVP features for market
testing. This is a high-impact initiative with the potential to significantly enhance customer loyalty and drive new revenue streams.
What are the specific tasks for this role?
- Lead the planning and execution of the Disruption Management Initiative, including the development and market validation of Omio USPs
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Tech, UXR, and Data Analytics, to ensure alignment and efficient progress.
- Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, tracking progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the timely delivery of MVP features for market testing within 2025.
- Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders regularly.
- Collaborate with the team to translate insights from qualitative research into actionable, innovative features.
- Support strategic feature definition and prioritisation based on research findings.
What does a typical Senior Project Manager do at Omio?
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Monitor project progress and report on key metrics.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
Qualifications
- You'll have over 10 years of experience in Product Management, preferably in a tech or
- product development environment.
- You'll have a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time
- and within budget.
- You have strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple
- tasks and priorities.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- You have experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
- You are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Ideally, you will have experience in the travel industry or with customer-centric
- initiatives.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
