Job Purpose

Your key goals are to:

  • Optimize margin and conversion for inflow sales of the ancillary product portfolio and diversify revenue streams by introducing new supplementary products and services, enhancing the overall customer experience and complementing our flight products. 
  • Enhance usability and reduce friction in the checkout process, focusing on increasing conversion rates through strategic optimizations and personalized elements, tailored to individual user preferences.
  • Implement personalized elements in the checkout experience to encourage customer retention, fostering a seamless and engaging process aligned with user preferences, encouraging repeat business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate a comprehensive product strategy with a product roadmap that outlines the direction of the Inflow Sales & Checkout Experience domain, aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, user behaviours, and emerging technologies and translate insights into actionable product requirements.
  • Develop mechanisms for systematically collecting ideas and synthesizing these ideas into cohesive concepts for product strategies, initiatives and experiments.
  • Build comprehensive and evidence based business cases supporting product initiatives, outlining potential benefits, risks, and expected outcomes.
  • Apply effective prioritization strategies and methodologies to maximize the overall value delivered.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators for products and lead optimization efforts to enhance the customer experience and drive conversion in the booking flow.
  • Foster transparent and effective communication across departments and within the product organization, ensuring a shared understanding of goals, priorities and business impacts.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders,data analysts and with the product organization to ensure products are being developed that meet user needs and meet company objectives.
  • Make informed decisions based on data and analysis, and encourage collaborative problem-solving.

What you bring to the table

  • You are passionate about data, and you have a strong drive to make it available in Travix to meet its purpose
  • At least 5 years experience in a relevant role within B2C environment 
  • Demonstrated e-commerce experience with new product strategy ideas and optimizing existing products to hit financial KPI targets is a must
  • Great stakeholder management
  • Self driven and able to motivate people, and foster cross-functional collaboration 
  • Be self-directed and able to move forward in a fast-paced, somewhat ambiguous environment
  • Ability to research & deliver complex business requirements
  • A result driven team player
  • A data driven and structured approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Great communication and presentation skills
  • SQL is a nice to have 
  • Fluent written and spoken English is essential
