About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of cutting-edge data projects in Dremio. This role focuses on leveraging modern data platforms like dbt and Dremio, with a strong emphasis on data lakehouses, Apache Iceberg, and data transformation workflows. As a key member of our product management team, you will shape the future of our data ecosystem and empower teams to make data-driven decisions.
What you’ll be doing
- Product Strategy: Define and execute the product roadmap for data projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market trends
- Hands-on Expertise: Actively engage with data engineering tools and platforms (DBT, Dremio, Apache Iceberg) to understand technical challenges and provide actionable solutions
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with engineering, marketing, and business teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and deliver impactful data solutions
- Platform Ownership: Lead the integration and optimization of data warehouses and data lakehouse solutions, enabling efficient data workflows and governance
- Innovative Thinking: Drive adoption of modern technologies such as Apache Iceberg to enhance performance, scalability, and manageability of data systems
- User-Centric Design: Ensure product solutions address real-world problems, enhance data accessibility, and improve user experience
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on data engineering and analytics trends, tools, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of product management experience with a focus on data platforms, warehouses, or analytics
- Proven expertise with dbt, Dremio, Apache Iceberg, and/or cloud-based data ecosystems (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT workflows, and managing data products in a modern stack
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams to deliver results
- Track record of tackling complex technical challenges and delivering scalable solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

**Certain benefits are only allowed to full-time Dremio employees and may not be the same across all locations.
The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $190,000 per year. The base salary actually offered to a successful candidate will take into account various relevant and non-discriminatory business factors including, without limitation, the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, and skills, and education, as well as internal equity considerations. A successful candidate may also be eligible to earn additional compensation including commissions and/or bonuses.
Return to Office Philosophy
Workplace Wednesdays - to break down silos, build relationships and improve cross-team communication. Lunch catering / meal credits provided in the office and local socials align to Workplace Wednesdays. In general, Dremio will remain a hybrid work environment. We will not be implementing a 100% (5 days a week) return to office policy for all roles.
