WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Senior Product Line Manager (PLM) to join the Global Jordan Footwear team! The ideal candidate will be the Global Jordan footwear’s functional product expert who will work functionally and cross-functionally to line plan and partner with design, product creation, merchandising, etc. in addition to external partners to build pinnacle footwear for Jordan Brand. This role is the conduit that bridges the gap and timely flow of information within the Energy Field Of Play cross-functional team. This person is an astute product professional, with a keen product eye, assertive nature, and strong business acumen. The ability to work in a highly matrixed organization, where relationship management and influencing skills are critical keys to success.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The ideal candidate will be required to be a subject matter expert on the Footwear Creation Process and calendar while making sure to align the critical gates/dates on the Energy/QS calendars. This person will collaborate closely with product creation and design on specific ad-hoc requests.

The Expert PLM will brief, line plan, and lead all Energy Footwear. Global Footwear internal subject matter expert and spokesperson for all Energy-specific footwear endeavors.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

  • Energy fop teammates (design, product creation, merchandising, brand marketing, VP/GM, etc)
  • Footwear functional leadership and peers

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Merchandising, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years experience in footwear industry(preferably footwear product creation, merchandising, and brand marketing)
  • Demonstrate excellent and creative consumer/marketplace understanding
  • Ability to demonstrate a sophisticated understanding of lifestyle footwear (tastes, habits, preferences, interests & behaviors)
  • An appreciation and understanding of macro/micro-culture, style, luxury, and streetwear
  • High taste level
  • Collaborative nature
  • Strong communication skills
