Position Overview:
As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead design projects, mentor junior designers, and influence project outcomes. You should demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of visual design principles, UX capabilities, user research methods, and design tools. Your role involves solving complex design problems, leading design discussions, and leveraging domain expertise to ensure project success.
Responsibilities:
· You will lead design projects with clarity and purpose, mentor junior designers, and significantly influence project outcomes and team direction by aligning efforts with strategic goals.
· You will demonstrate expertise in visual design principles, UX capabilities, user research methods, and design tools. Solve complex design problems by integrating user feedback and data-driven insights. Guide teams to project success through leadership and domain expertise.
· You will exhibit knowledge and lead domain-specific projects while mentoring junior designers to ensure effective application of design expertise.
· You will design trends and design systems. Establish and maintain high design standards. Demonstrate mastery of industry-standard design tools to optimize workflows
· You will conduct user research and usability testing independently with a solid understanding of research methods and techniques. Apply findings to improve user experience and design decisions.
· You will encourage team collaboration and knowledge sharing while building connections across teams. Lead design discussions, present ideas effectively to stakeholders.
· You will build close relationships with customers to integrate their perspectives into your team’s deliverables, ensuring designs meet user needs and expectations.
· You will propose ideas, initiatives, and solutions proactively, fostering a culture that embraces innovation and continuous improvement. Encourage your team to adopt a forward-thinking, proactive mindset.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Product Designer (UXUI) in a software company.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, UX, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in user-centered design and UX methodologies.
- Experience in designing AI-based systems, familiarity with AI concepts and terminology.
- Proficiency in animation and illustration, with the ability to create engaging and interactive user experiences.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design tools and technologies.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design work for complex projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
