The Position

We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting and maintaining the quality bar for product experiences at Copilot Money. 

This is a hybrid position based in New York City - you’ll be required to come into our Brooklyn office at least 2 times a week along with the rest of the team. We work from home the rest of the week, but the office is always available in case you want to make use of it more often.

What you’ll do

• Design a cross-platform industry-leading personal finance management app
• Develop features that turn ambiguous user problems into concrete solutions
• Shape the visual direction of Copilot Money’s apps through both deep systems thinking and high-craft visual polish
• Work in a highly collaborative way with product and engineering teams, along with other designers
• Lead design reviews and share your work regularly with your team

What we’re looking for

• >6 years of experience in product design, preferably in fintech or consumer apps
• Mastery of Figma and other modern design tools
• Exceptional visual and interaction design skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to work independently and manage your own projects effectively
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly
• A curiosity for personal finance and financial wellness
• A growth mindset and openness to feedback and new ideas
• Based in NYC

Compensation and Benefits

• The expected salary range for this role is $170,000 - $190,000. However, the starting base pay will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity.

• Annual week-long rotations between the US and Chile.
