What you’ll do 

  • Conceptualise, develop, and execute innovative design solutions across a range of disciplines, including graphic, product, structural packaging, service, and occasionally environmental design.
  • Collaborate with Design Directors and cross-functional teams to define design strategies and ensure seamless project execution from concept to launch.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, providing constructive feedback and fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Actively participate in new business development initiatives, contributing to pitches, presentations, and client proposals.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand client needs, target audiences, and market trends, informing design decisions and ensuring impactful outcomes.
  • Present design concepts and rationale to clients and internal stakeholders, effectively communicating your vision and securing buy-in.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and design trends, continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and sharing knowledge with the team. 

What you’ll need 

  • Demonstrable experience as a 3D designer, with a compelling portfolio showcasing a diverse range of product/industrial design projects.
  • Expert proficiency in Rhino 3D, Keyshot, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, essential for creating high-quality visuals and design assets.
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication techniques, and construction technology, enabling you to design for feasibility and efficient production.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively articulate design concepts, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • A proactive and highly organized approach to project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • A genuine passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to pushing creative boundaries and delivering innovative solutions.
  • A strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and visual communication, ensuring aesthetically pleasing and impactful designs.
