Job Summary: 

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our product. You will design direction in close collaboration with key stakeholders to define approach, tone, personality, ease of use and end-to-end flows. The successful candidate will evidence a passion for delivering adaptive and creative solutions to UI/UX design problems by staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in user experience design and user interface technology.

What you will do:

  • Investigate user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets.
  • Develop and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
  • Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
  • Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
  • Test UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
  • Partner closely with cross functional members to define user needs, opportunity space, and product requirements.
  • Deliver detailed design flows and specifications, ensure product excellence throughout product development and implementation process.
  • Build strong relationships with cross functional stakeholders to drive user focus, creativity, efficiency, and product excellence.
  • Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior.
  • Adhere to style standards on typography and graphic design.

What you will bring to SmithRx: 

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
  • Experience at a high-growth startup a plus
  • Portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
  • Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Photoshop, AdobeXD, Figma, Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Positivity; non-dogmatic, team-first attitude
  • Flexibility; someone who is responsive and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Proven ability to collaborate with teams and work autonomously, with excellent communication skills
  • Strong multitasking and time-management abilities, with a focus on task prioritization.
