About The Role


As a Senior Product Designer for the Mobility design team, you'll build experiences end-to-end. You’ll be integrating yourself to solve journeys from the moment Customers open the Gojek app to booking a ride, enabling our driver partners to connect to their customers as well as their community, as well as to leverage our business partners to grow.


Your main challenges will be to understand multiple conflicting POVs and craft a holistic solution while considering the products’ short-term and long-term runway. You will act as a thought partner for other teams within Gojek: Researchers, UX Writers, Business, Marketing, DLS, Engineering, etc. You will be initiating and leading workshops to align principles, brainstorm on product scope and roadmaps, ideate solutions for bleeding-edge problems, and hone your craftsmanship skills to deliver enjoyable and impactful experiences to Gojek’s millions of users!

What You Will Do

  • Build/improve user experience towards business objectives by collaborating very closely with product teams
  • Be an advocate for the user by aligning the team on the importance of user-centric metrics when defining product strategy
  • Mentor and coach a team of designers, providing them with a path to career success
  • Set up user research practices in collaboration with researchers, products, and fellow designers

What You Will Need

  • Have very solid understanding of design principles, and have experience utilising them to build digital products
  • Have first-hand experience in building and maintaining a DLS
  • Have at least 6 years of experience in building mobile and web user experiences, preferably for high-growth consumer-facing as well as B2B products
  • Have hands-on mobile and web UI skills to translate wireframes into beautiful and intuitive screens
  • Do not shy away from getting feet-deep into quantitative and qualitative data
  • Understand user segments and their implications on the design process
  • Challenge established beliefs both internally within the design team and across functions. Ask a lot of fundamental questions!
  • Know what it takes to get things moving really fast
