We are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in end-to-end product design, including research, ideation, UX/UI, and interaction design.
  • Proven experience leading design projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Mastery in design software, including Figma, Unbounce, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • A deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to apply them effectively to create engaging and accessible user experiences.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills, with experience presenting design perspective and best practices to the broader organization.
  • Experience as a key member of a product delivery squad, acting as one of the three leaders (alongside product management and engineering) responsible for driving product initiatives from concept to delivery.
  • A track record of using analytics data and user feedback to iterate on designs, coupled with a keen instinct for innovative design solutions.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to articulate your design rationale clearly and persuasively to team members and stakeholders.
  • The ability to balance multiple projects, manage priorities, and work independently while knowing when to engage with key stakeholders.

We would like to see the following qualities:

  • Extensive experience designing for responsive web and mobile platforms, with a strong understanding of animation, interaction design, and accessibility best practices.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to contribute to product direction and design strategies that align with business goals.
  • Experience in design system creation and management, ensuring consistency across the platform while allowing for flexibility in design exploration.
  • Demonstrable success in leading user testing sessions, synthesizing feedback, and translating insights into actionable design improvements.
  • The ability to quickly prototype and iterate on ideas, using a variety of tools and methods to explore design solutions.
  • A proven track record of collaborating with marketing teams on visual assets, brand consistency, and small to large-scale design projects.

Salary and Other Compensation Disclosures

The annual starting salary for this position is between $130,000-$135,000 annually. The pay range listed here is what Sittercity in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors. This position is also eligible for bonus awards.

The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and short-term disability insurance. Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role receive up to: ten days of paid sick time per year, fifteen days of paid vacation time per year, six weeks of paid parental leave (after twelve months of service), and 9 paid holidays annually.
