As a Senior Product Analyst, you will have the opportunity to shape the technical aspects and design of Evolent’s technology capabilities and products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution strategy, business operations, engineering, quality assurance, and IT, to ensure our applications meet the needs of our customers, the market, and the business. You will be involved in every stage of the product development process, from ideation to delivery, and you will have a direct impact on the success of our products.

Our Senior Product Analysts are critical to the success of our initiatives, bridging the gap between the business, the market, and the customers. They collaborate with implementation teams, business operations, engineering, and growth teams to create value and delight users.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Evolent Health is looking for a Senior Product Analyst to be a key member of the Product team. This individual will play a critical role in executing Evolent Health’s mission by defining market requirements and supporting the Product Management team in delivering the highest value capabilities.
- Define, document, and communicate technical requirements for Evolent’s Applications via user stories, definitions of done, use cases, acceptance criteria.
- Responsible for working with operational stakeholders to elicit, document, and review business needs and expectations from problem definition, to goals and objectives of a particular initiative.
- Assist and sometimes champion work related to the development of Business cases, Vision and Objectives, Scope statements (high level requirements), detailed requirements, nonfunctional requirements and user stories development
- Participate in issue/risk mitigation and creative solutioning to deliver within established time and resource constraints
- Communicate effectively with relevant parties throughout all phases of development and surface project risks and changes to delivery timelines
- Provides specialized technical and business knowledge to application development and enhancement projects
- Key participant in user acceptance testing (externally and internally) and systems sign-off
- Alerts product managers to potential risks and issues of importance
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to coordinate and builds strong teamwork across scrum teams, cross-functional teams, product, and engineer through forums (bringing all POs, Lead engineers, and stakeholder into a consistent forum to cross collaborate)
- Familiarity with agile scrum methodologies
The Experience You’ll Need (Required):
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years’ experience in healthcare, Operations, IT business analyst, and/or product management
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks to successful completion
- Team player that is assertive, passionate, and goal-oriented
- Interested in exploring the application of new and emerging technologies to meet business needs
- Proven track record in establishing strong relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to talk tech to business, and talk business to tech
- Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Visio)
- Understanding of healthcare data formats (e.g., eligibility, claims, configuration, authorizations, clinical data) and grouper technologies (e.g., DRG) is preferred
- Understanding of Agile Methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) is preferred
- Experience writing product documentation (release notes, user guides) is preferred
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence is preferred
Technical Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $85,000 - 115,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
