WHAT WE'D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
For our Product Analytics Team in Fulfillment Core we’re looking for a motivated and skilled Senior Product Analyst (all genders) to provide hands-on support to the team. Fulfillment Core builds and operates systems that are at the core of Zalando’s platform strategy and ensure timely, efficient, and correct delivery of every one of our customers’ 185+ million orders every year. We are dedicated to delivering the best customer experience by optimizing fulfillment plans for efficient and speedy order delivery. We ensure transparency in order fulfillment, providing customers with accurate delivery times and we are managing inventory across multiple stock locations, including partner stock. By monitoring stock levels, status, and valuation, we enhance operational excellence and prevent issues like stock shortages and order cancellations. Additionally, we oversee inventory and delivery management across all Zalando sales channels, enriching availability information with expected delivery times, delivery options, and shipping fees. This enables our sales channels to offer competitive and convenient services while ensuring maximum transparency for customers.
As a Senior Product Analyst in Fulfillment Core, you will be part of a team working on a Fulfillment Platform, critical internal facing, and data-driven products. All these products are designed to help Zalando and our partners to offer premium fulfillment to customers. You will contribute to building the required infrastructure that will enable us to run complex deep dives, A/B experiments, and derive actionable insights. You will collaborate with other analysts, product managers, software engineers, and a network of stakeholders to develop scalable analytics products and contribute to shaping KPIs throughout the product platform.

You will apply your data expertise to create actionable insights to support the product development process and decision-making.

You will be the go-to person in the team for complex analyses on Zalando’s large and diverse datasets.

You will find root causes of problems and evaluate their business impact. You will independently explore data to uncover blind spots and find new opportunities.

You will formulate easy-to-understand recommendations based on strong analytical insights to get stakeholder buy-in and support prioritization on what to do next.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF...

5+ years of relevant working experience in a data-intensive analytics role where you learned how to work with raw data, ideally in an e-commerce context and in a large organisation

You are excited to deal with very large data sets. You have experience in deriving insights from such data and you intuitively know when to dive deep into data and when not

You are able to write advanced SQL queries, build data pipelines, reports and dashboards. You have a good understanding of statistical and causal methods

You have experience with programming languages such as Python and/or R. You are proficient with technologies and tools such as Github, Google Big Query, Tableau

You have good written and verbal skills to communicate your problem statements, hypotheses, insights and recommendations to a wider and executive audience

You have proven experience in working closely with product teams and you have a good understanding of product discovery and opportunity sizing. You are adept at making data-driven decisions to influence product development.
