As Senior Producer, you are the show’s heartbeat—crafting compelling segments, ensuring guests shine on air, and keeping every moment engaging. You’ll be the mastermind behind unforgettable content, working closely with our entire team to elevate the storytelling, enhance viewer engagement, and keep our audience hooked from start to finish. Plus, you’ll help drive the future of streaming content for our digital platform, WWL+.
What You’ll Do:
*Scout, book, and prep top-tier guests for impactful interviews that resonate.
*Ensure every segment hits the mark—engaging, informative, and unforgettable.
*Keep the show moving with energy—from breaking news to live music acts.
*Create compelling digital content for WWL+, shaping the next era of streaming news.
*Work the control room like a pro—steering live content and breaking news coverage.
*Manage a database of past and potential guests, keeping the best voices in the mix.
*Collaborate with the Executive Producer, Anchors, and Production Team to keep the show fresh, exciting, and must-watch TV.
What You Bring to the Table:
*3+ years of experience in news production, live television, or content creation.

TEGNA offers comprehensive benefits designed to safeguard the physical, mental and financial health of our employees and their families. TEGNA offers two medical plan options for full and part-time employees through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, as well as access to dental and eye care coverage; fertility, surrogacy and adoption assistance; disability and life insurance.
Our 401(k) program offers full, part-time and temporary employees the opportunity to contribute 1% - 80% of their pay on a pre-tax basis to TEGNA’s 401(k). Contributions made up to the first 4% of pay are eligible for a 100% match from the company and are 100% vested from day one.
