POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Producer is a senior role on the Production team responsible for the efficient running of the Production department and studio. This person will oversee shoot productions and be involved in all steps of the process including coordinating the pitch process prior to award, assessing client needs and bidding for projects, organizing creative calls, extracting briefs, researching and articulating viable production solutions, providing studio and location options, working with partner photographers and directors, finding/costing the specific skilled crew and sell in production benefits to potential clients.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS

5-7 years of experience within a post-production environment , preferable as a Producer
-
College degree in related field. A combination of work experience and education can be substituted.

PC/Mac literate, word and excel proficiency needed
-
Proficiency with creative tools: Photoshop, After Effects, Flame, Resolve, and Softimage
-
Thorough understanding of current Production and Post-production workflows including the latest digital camera workflows (Arri Alexa, Red)

Experience in using social media as commercial tools (Facebook apps, YouTube channels, MySpace, Twitter, etc.) is a plus
-
Knowledge of live-action protocols and bidding practices is a plus

Flexibility to travel globally for productions, to creatively lead on-location, or to attend training in the London office

Strong scheduling and organizational skills

JOB DUTIES

*Create bids and oversee pitches for prospective projects.

*Coordinate the pitching process prior to award. This includes: Assessing client needs and bidding for projects, organizing creative calls, extracting briefs, researching and articulating viable production solutions, provide studio and location options, work with partner photographers and directors, finding/costing the specific skilled crew and sell in production benefits to potential clients.

*Oversee shoot productions.

*Be a lead producer on live productions, responsible for managing all aspects of the shoot, capturing footage as agreed in creative brief. Plan and schedule all resources, managing relationships with clients, photographers/directors and all suppliers.

*Scope & estimate studio and location-based productions, national and international.

*Responsible for all finances, from agency to production and crew expenses. Manage budgets to deliver pre-agreed profit margins. Manage all financial aspects of all projects, delivering agreed profit targets.

*Provide direction to the production team and monitor their work to ensure the best quality and schedule delivery

*Take charge of production systems, including bid files, updating freelancer lists, and other proprietary documentation on the server.

Developing key relationships with agency, clients, photographers, directors and all crew.

Include comprehensive wrap books to present clients and internal accounts.

Liaising with London office, sharing pipeline, tips and techniques.

Manage external and internal stock library.

Capture 'behind the scenes' content from productions for marketing activity. Help producing marketing content, keynote, behind the scenes, social media drive.

Ensure showreels/deconstructs are updated
The salary range for this position is $80k minimum - $100k maximum per annum. Compensation varies depending on location, job-related factors such as experience, responsibilities, and business needs.
