We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join our growing organization and be part of our dynamic team. This role is crucial in shaping procurement strategies, optimizing supply chain operations, and ensuring seamless service delivery to our customers. 

Job Purpose:

The Senior Procurement Specialist will be a key player growing the EIndustrify platform, connecting with customers and suppliers, execute end-to-end procurement activities for a wide range of industrial products. They will be accountable for managing product fulfilment processes as well as leading supplier acquisition so as to grow the offerings portfolio.

The position will collaborate across global teams and will take a leading role in coaching and mentoring execution teams across IT, Supply Chain and Project Delivery.

Key Responsibilities 

Procurement  

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Handle end-of-the-end procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQs, negotiations, and purchase orders. 
  • Collaborate with vendors to secure the best terms for pricing, delivery, and quality. 
  • Manage the RFQ-to-PO lifecycle, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. 

Logistics Coordination 

  • Oversee the complete lifecycle of procurement operations, from sourcing products to delivering them to customers. 
  • Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective fulfillment. 
  • Partner with logistics providers and shipping carriers to address and resolve delivery issues. 
  • Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to relevant stakeholders. 
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and maintain proper documentation for all shipments. 

Supplier Relationship Management 

  • Identify and onboard new suppliers to expand our network and product offerings. 
  • Maintain strong relationships with key vendors to ensure a reliable supply chain. 
  • Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions when necessary. 

Cost Optimization 

  • Analyze market trends and pricing to ensure cost-effective purchasing. 
  • Implement strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce expenses. 
  • Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with suppliers. 

Team Collaboration 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including logistics, sales, and customer support, to ensure seamless service delivery. 
  • Support the training and mentorship of junior procurement staff. 
  • Work with the Technology team to enhance procurement processes through ERP integration and automation. 
  • Leverage data analytics to drive procurement decisions and reporting. 

Qualifications 

Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). 
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related role, preferably in power, oil & gas, and industrial sectors. 
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP), or equivalent certifications preferred. 

Skills 

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. 
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (experience with tools like Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms preferred). 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Solid understanding of supply chain and logistics processes. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
