In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Responsible for Direct Procurement Operations’ key activities in Novonesis:
• Purchase Order Management including contract creations and maintenance:
• Manage the complete purchase order process for raw materials, ensuring timely and accurate procurement.
• Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials (“call off”), ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details and delivery schedules.
• Material Master Management (Creation /Deletion).
• Complaints Handling and Query management:
• Communicating/Engaging with majorly E.U/U. S suppliers to provide timely and prompt Service to stakeholders.
• Address and resolve any complaints or issues related to the quality, quantity, or delivery of raw materials.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to implement corrective actions as needed.
• Respond to internal and external queries regarding procurement processes, order status, and related information.
• Provide necessary documentation and information to support query resolution.

Invoice discrepancy handling:

• Responsible for handling the Invoice disputes and ensuring on- time payment in collaboration with Finance Team

Cross functional engagement, and Ad hoc assignments:

• Participate/assist in ad hoc tasks and projects including Reporting and Process improvement activities.
• Work closely with internal teams such as Procurement, Quality, and Finance to ensure seamless procurement operations.
• Support/Engage with Category Managers on projects and responsibility for own scale projects in accordance with aligned scope.
• Supplier Performance Management involvement / evaluations.
• At all-times contribute towards ensuring Procurement Operations’ position as a central service function in Novonesis,
• Communication on several levels (externally and internally) should be driven by presence of mind and professionalism.

Reporting lines:

Process Manager – Direct Procurement

Educational:

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field.

Experience:

A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in purchasing Direct materials /Service function/P2P Function.

Domain/Functional knowledge:

• Detailed understanding of raw materials and packaging materials is essential.
• Proficiency in SAP R3 and SAP MM is a prerequisite.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procure-to-pay processes.
• To be able to do spend management in P2P.
• Proven Negotiation and contract management expertise.
• Supplier Performance and relationship management skills
• Experience with digital procurement tools, specifically eSourcing platforms like (Ariba, Scanmarket etc.)
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office tools.
• Reporting skills

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Sourcing
• Knowledge of Quality systems
• Basic understanding of and accounting and finance processes
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability/Aptitude to learn new digital tools to enhance ways of working.
• Good Verbal and written English
• Exposure to/Experience in supporting cross functional projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Exemplary personal and professional integrity
• Business outcome focused and flexible (i.e., working in shifts)
• PMO knowledge
• Lean and Six Sigma

Other experience and specific personal qualifications can compensate for or replace some of the general requirements.

Preferably knowledge of quality systems, PC super user, knowledge of MS Office, SAP and accounting
