Team mission
The Accounting Operations Team mission is to ensure financial integrity and operational accounting efficiency. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in all our processes.
The Sr Procurement Analyst will oversee the purchasing process of GetYourGuide Vendors. This role is dedicated to enhancing the current Procurement to Pay (P2P) process, focusing primarily on the creation of Purchase Orders (POs), verifying the accuracy of Purchase Requests (PRs), amending errors, and collaborating with our Finance IT Systems to enhance our ERP SAP Hana S4 for this objective. The Sr. Procurement Analyst will also be the key promoter and trainer for end business users on the usage of Purchase Orders, ensuring correct cost allocation, and playing a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of the PO accrual process.
You will:
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, including correct cost allocation and accurate PO accruals.
- Oversee the creation and management of Purchase Orders, ensuring accuracy and prompt correction of any errors.
- Collaborate with the General Ledger and FP&A Teams during Month-End Close to ensure accurate PO invoice accruals.
- Streamline the vendor onboarding process into our ERP system as well as identifying favourable payment terms.
- Work closely with the Finance IT Systems and Accounts Payable Team to enhance the functionality and efficiency of SAP Hana S4.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Procurement to Pay cycle and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure users are proficient in the procurement processes.
Who you are:
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience (+5 years) in procurement, purchasing, or a related field, preferably within the service industry.
- Knowledge of SAP Hana S4 or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train and support end users effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in process improvement initiatives.
