Job Description
Your Role
The Senior Portfolio Administrator will work within the Global Liquidity/ MM Trade Support team as part of the Global Trade and Custody Management (GTCM) Service Delivery team, providing critical support to internal IVZ customers, colleagues, external clients, and business partners. This individual will develop a high level of functional knowledge within the team, enabling them to provide analytical insights, direction, and risk mitigation on tasks and deliverables, ensuring the team's key requirements are met.
You will be responsible for:

Business Support: Provide timely and accurate business support for all trade activity supporting the Money Market/Liquidity trading team(s), life cycle management, and settlements, including third-party messaging to custodians, fund accounting agents, and other interested parties.

Quality Assurance: Assist in reviewing the daily work of the trade support operations team to ensure adherence to standard practices, policies, and procedures.

Process Improvement: Contribute to the review and enhancement of existing processes and procedures to meet changes in workflow, reporting, and regulations, fostering a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture.

Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with key internal stakeholders, internal customers, and vendor partners to support the business.

Regulatory Awareness: Maintain a deep understanding and awareness of regulatory and product requirements, facilitating knowledge transfer and education within the team.

Policy Management: Assist in maintaining all relevant policy and governance documentation, including interpretation and implementation of changes as required, liaising with Global Investment centers, legal, compliance, and external parties.

Metrics Reporting: Produce MIS metrics for distribution to key internal and external stakeholders.

Data Analysis: Undertake in-depth analysis of data to identify trends, enhance processes and procedures, and mitigate associated risks.

Service Reviews: Participate in service reviews with custodians, business partners, and service providers.

Project Participation: Participate in projects and initiatives impacting GTCM as it relates to the Line of Business (LOB) supported and/ or broader businesses as needed.
The experience you bring:

Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and OMS software (e.g., Excel, Aladdin, CRD). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Understanding of local/global regulatory obligations as appropriate in the context of impacting business requirements/service provision.

Knowledge of Bonds, Short Term/Money Market products, Derivatives, Financing, and Lending.

A bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, or equivalent work experience.
