Responsibilities
- Configuration as appropriate in assigned Product or Platform.
- Participate in gathering business requirements and defining technical requirements for the solutions.
- Design and Implement Integrations across multiple vendor-hosted solutions leveraging APIs and possibly custom developed applications.
- Ability to manage applications at various levels -- web-based, SAAS, vendor-hosted, cloud-based, and on-premises.
- Administer user roles and profiles for all solutions, including creating new roles and profiles, setting prescribed user permission, security settings, access settings.
- Design operational workflow process and propose areas for optimization.
- Perform new feature exploration of each solution to determine feature-fit for strategic and tactical program activities.
- Address planned and unplanned production issues, coordination, maintenance, communication and business support.
- Configure or develop low code solutions leveraging vendor platforms.
- Document and implement change control and best practices with regards to system maintenance, configuration, development, testing, and data integrity.
- Test business process functionality across complicated IT systems.
- Apply data security, governance, quality, and strategy best practices.
- Develop or contribute to deployment runbooks and operationalize the go-live and transition to maintenance plans.
- Recommend controls by identifying problems, writing improved system requirements, or revising procedures.
- Perform operations tasks such as monitoring application performance.
- Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to design new features.
- Identify areas for process and efficiency improvement.
- Partner with team to run the Agile processes.
- Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, and mentor other members of the engineering community.
- Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in MIS, CIS, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- 5-8 Years of Experience - Financial Services experience required
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies.
- Transactional (60%) Tactical (40%)
- Experience with application development and platform support - Perform Code Reviews
- Work on more complex features and capabilities
