Job Title: Senior Platform Engineer
Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore
Business & Team: Cloud Integration
Impact &contribution: The cloud movement at CommBank is going strong and continues to grow. We’re looking for out of the box thinkers who want to use technology to work on real-world problems that have the potential to change the lives of our 17 million+ customers. The successful applicant will join a team tasked to build and operate the Certificates and PKI infrastructure for the bank. You will be expected to continuously improve the platform through DevSecOps model.
Roles & responsibilities:

Ensure the platform is running24/7 and respond to incidents as needed.

Design and build all aspects of an enterprise platform, e.g. tooling, CI/CD, Security, Observability.

Share engineering knowledge through presentation, blogs, videos with the broader engineering community.

Collaborate with Product Owner and team to create relevant engineering roadmaps.
Essential skills:
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team• Have very good system design/architecture knowledge.

8-10 years of experience in relevant field.

Possesses technical hands-on experience in multi cloud but mainly with AWS.

Are Proficient working with various scripting/programming languages such as Python, Bash,, Powershell

Are Proficient with versioning systems and CI/CD tools like; GitHub Github Action, Artifactory, ArgoCD.

Are Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools like; AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Terraform/Ansible

Have good experience API development and integrations.

Are Proficient in PKI and Certificate Life Cycle Management

Experience with Hardware Security Modules (HSM) (e.g. Thales, Gemalto, AWS
-
CloudHSM desirable).

Experience with Venafi solutions and APIs (highly desirable)

Have good knowledge of Windows Servers

CISSP Certification (desirable)

AWS Cloud Certification (desirable)
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology.
