Job Description
In the EMEA payroll team, we are responsible for the salaries of our colleagues from 40 countries in EMEA. We serve approximately 6,000 employees in, among others, Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Israel, Poland, Sweden, South Africa, Turkey, the UK and the Middle East countries. The primary mission of our department is to ensure that all employees of the EMEA Rockwell region receive correct compensation following applicable legal regulations and company policy.
We are looking for a Senior Payroll Specialist. Our team includes committed and passionate people who are responsible for EMEA countries (some of them in the country's native language), specialize in project management, implementing improvements in the team work with EXCEL
You will work in Katowice.
You will report to the EMEA Manager, located in Katowice.
You will work in hybrid model.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will maintain payroll data with punctuality. Ensure completeness and accuracy of all records.
- You will collaborate with external payroll vendors to deliver and control payroll data. Ensure outputs meet company standards. Work with external payroll vendors to ensure seamless delivery of payroll services to employees.
- You will perform and oversee payroll services, guaranteeing, accuracy, and adherence to compliance standards
- You will prepare and verify necessary documentation, declarations, and reports for various authorities and institutions.
- You will address and resolve internal clients' inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- You will manage data integrity across several systems including GPMS, WorkDay, SAP, ADP.
- You will verify and control the correctness of payroll data and calculations, implementing changes when needed.
- You will participate in daily collaboration with HR and Finance Departments to align payroll processes.
- You will address and resolve issues related to outsourced payroll services.
- You will keep track of deadlines and maintain payroll processes following work regulations, labor law, internal audit procedures.
- You will build and maintain strong relationships within the payroll team and across departments.
- You will contribute to payroll-related projects, contributing to their success.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Master's degree in finance or related field.
- 5 years of experience in payroll processess
- Previous Polish and other EMEA countries payroll experience, with shared services experience as a bonus.
- Knowledge of Excel
- Advanced level of English (B2/C1) and another European language (Czech, Italian, French).
