They use an e-commerce platform with multi-level marketing to distribute their products, which has a lot of users around the world. Main technology stack: C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, Typescript, Angular.js, React, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Docker, AWS, Bitbucket Pipelines, Grafana.
As a Mid-Tier Oracle PL/SQL Developer, you will play a key role in the maintenance and improvement of complex existing high-load PL/SQL applications within our dynamic team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of our database systems.
- 4+ years of extensive experience in Oracle PL/SQL.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL programming and SQL query optimization.
- Familiarity with database design concepts and schema development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- English - Strong Upper-Intermediate or Advanced is a must.
Nice to have skills:
- Knowledge of one of the following programming languages will be a plus: .NET, JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with Oracle database tools (e.g., DBeaver, SQL Developer).
- Base knowledge of GIT.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding of data security practices and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, and implement PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to support business applications.
- Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance improvements and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for application logic, database architecture, and data workflows.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes to ensure quality standards and best practices are met.
- Troubleshoot database performance issues, providing timely resolution to ensure minimal disruption.
