Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced optimization with a deep understanding of Adobe Target, Launch, and Analytics and experience in developing test & personalization experiences in a wide range of platforms (Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty, etc.), along with strong proficiency in CSS/HTML and JavaScript/JQuery.

This position will collaborate with a team of digital experience and customer journey architects, analysts, as well as other application developers, with a focus on the technical implementation of digital experience concepts using optimization (and other) platforms.

You'll also be responsible for building and showcasing platform capabilities, to support the maturity advancement of client accounts, and developing platform templates and best practices tailored for different accounts.
 

What You’ll Do / Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead implementation of optimization platforms for new clients, recommending approach and overseeing technical setup, customization, and configuration.
    • Otherwise serve as the hands-on subject matter expert for all technical optimization platform management.
    • Serve as the go-to technical expert for resolving optimization platform challenges, providing innovative solutions to technical problems.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, via engagement with non-technical teammates to gather and refine user requirements, and convert business requirements into cost-effective, scalable, and elegant technical solutions that enhance the user experience.
    • Provide accurate estimates for projects to assist with resource planning and forecasting delivery timelines.
    • Perform quality assurance and testing of optimization platform implementations to ensure optimal functionality and an exceptional user experience.
    • Utilize JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, and CSS to implement front-end adaptations required for A/B testing and personalization activities.
  • Other responsibilities
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams regarding optimization platform capabilities, functionalities, and best practices.
    • Collaborate with client IT teams, developers, and consultants to integrate third-party applications and systems.
    • Leverage Adobe Analytics to create ad hoc workspaces and monitor experiment performance.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation for optimization platform setups, configurations, and processes.
    • Implement templates and best practice approaches for managing code sets brought to client websites via optimization platforms.
    • Design and implement integrations with third-party services to enhance platform capabilities.
    • Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of optimization platforms.
    • Knowledgeable in responsive design and mobile optimization.
    • Basic knowledge of SEO optimizations and search engine strategies.
    • Lead discovery efforts to gather necessary information from clients and internal team members to appropriately understand business needs and solution requirements.
    • Work closely with the project management team to manage workflow and deadlines across multiple, simultaneous platform-related projects and change controls.
    • Proficient in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, APIs, JavaScript, JQuery React (and modern React frameworks such as Next.js and Gatsby).
    • Comfortable working with all levels of an organization and capable of communicating effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders, and management.

 Who You Are:

  • Independently motivated to develop, deliver and iterate on increasingly better SaaS based products, at the intersection of media and eCommerce data
  • Very comfortable communicating and collaborating remotely via video & audio chat
  • At least 5 years of full-time paid work experience in web development role
  • Proven experience in architecting web development solutions.
  • Strong communicational skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and solve technical challenges efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and change controls.
  • Experience with working in Agile methodology, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint   planning and retrospectives. Hands on tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.

  • Software Design, GitHub, Postman, Visual Studio Code, JIRA, Adobe Target
  • Hand on experience with source control, documentations etcs
  • Develop and manage integrations with third-party services such as payment gateways, CRM, and ERP systems using SFCC’s APIs and integration framework.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with middleware solutions and API management tools.

Salary Range

$125,000.00 - $150,000.00
