Senior Operations Manager RBS Indigenous Programs will report to the Executive Manager CSN Partnerships and will be responsible for the successful operations management of RBS’s First Nations Reach program.

The Senior Operations Manager RBS Indigenous Programs responsibilities will also extend to the successful management of other similar programs within RBS and will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Provides program operational leadership to delivery teams including cross functional and external resources,
  • Effectively engages with and manages multiple stakeholder relationships with Senior Leaders, vendors, third-party suppliers and community groups
  • Has deep, direct understanding of Indigenous culture.
  • Leads the design and/or delivery of prioritised Indigenous culture, inclusion and people experience interactions and initiatives in the programs (to enable execution of the Group Strategy) and partner with relevant SMEs and process owners to ensure interaction design objectives are achieved.
  • Builds cross functional business relationships with stakeholders in CSD, Group Customer Advocacy & Vulnerability, Procurement, HR, Indigenous Careers, Corporate Affairs and businesses to provide direction on our programs, aligning working groups and activities to enhance our ability to achieve our culture aspirations and enhance our people and customer’s experience.
  • Is an effective team member through a focus on strong operational management, risk acuity and development of capabilities, competencies and skills.
  • Understands their role and team’s operational risk and controls profile, responsibilities and applies non-financial risk management practices through effective oversight, governance and controls to identify and mitigate non-financial risk
  • Can effectively communicate to a wide variety of stakeholders in written and verbal formats
  • Be well versed in managing budgetary requirements of a program including stakeholder reporting

Experience working within a banking operational environment and the ability to lead and manage our programs from inception to execution to embedment, providing leadership, management, organised coordination and direction to teams, a risk mindset with strong process focused qualities.
