JOB DESCRIPTION:

Studies new products under Production Test Capability (PTC) qualification stage by DPE.

Attends PTC peer review and approval.
-
Evaluates and releases post PTC in Low Volume Manufacturing (LVM) and release it to High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) stage based on Manufacturing Validation (MV) product maturity acceptance criteria.

Performs engineering analysis, disposition, bench verification and corrective action for new products in Low Volume Manufacturing (LVM) non-conforming lots.

Interfaces with Design Eng., Product Eng., Process Eng., Test Operations, and Manufacturing Engineering to solve new product issues, production problems, and feedback the lessons and best known methods.

Designs and modifies test systems and equipment as needed to eliminate processing errors.

Prevents the potential occurrences of yield variance, optimize test time, and solves test related problems to achieve the desired Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Develops and sustains process improvements to reduce Production and Quality costs.

Delivers customer electrical samples in LVM stage.

Provides engineering support to Allegro Corporate and all its Design, Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing sites.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Higher Diploma / degree in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering or equivalent semicon experience

Extensive hands-on experience with Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) repair and product/equipment characterization utilizing basic statistical methods and SPC
-
Knowledge on the use of advanced statistical techniques for machine assessments such as MSA and FMEA
