Amentum is now hiring for a Senior Network Architect in support of the Field, Lab and Air Integration / Experimentation / Modeling and Risk Reduction (FLAIR) office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and other locations. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment FLAIR core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of FLAIR and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within FLAIR.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Handle network modeling and analysis.

Provide designs for network changes to management for approval.

Recommend network equipment improvements.
-
Analyze business needs to drive changes to network architecture.

Evaluate network performance to ensure optimization.
-
Evaluate devices and vendors to find the best solutions for the company at a low cost.
-
Monitor vendor contracts against results, escalating issues to management when necessary.
-
Produce documentation, including diagrams, that detail network architecture implementation.
-
Develop and implement coded solutions for new network hardware or software.

Draft and maintain policies for deployments and daily operations to ensure efficiency.

Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor’s of Science degree.

CCNA, CISSP certification required.

Minimum of 9 years’ experience. Will accept 5 years of additional experience in lieu of degree.

Must have an Active TOP SECRET/SCI US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting C5ISR DEVCOM programs.
