Senior .NET Back-end Developer

We in Application Platforms are a unit responsible for business-critical IT infrastructure and application platforms in If Nordics. We take care of vital IT services, such as data centers, data platforms and document management. We use exciting technology to create front-running insurance experiences for our customers. Giving them the security and the confidence to be curious, explore new worlds, start new businesses, and live their lives.

As a Document Management Developer, you will be part of the Application Platforms unit and Document Management Platform team. Our Document Management system holds over 400 million documents that must be highly available and maintained according to various business rules and regulations.

What are you going to do?

• You will be developing our Document Management solution further and supporting If development teams with efficient use of the technology

• You will contribute to supporting the internal customers in daily problem situations by assisting them in learning and building better solutions

• You will technically maintain the document management platform and actively secure it runs in maximum efficiency and performance

• We see continuous competence development as a key to our position as front-runners and will welcome and promote your initiatives and engagement

What do we expect from you?

Must have

• 5+ years of professional experience with .NET and C#

• Strong knowledge of cloud applications (Azure)

• Expertise in API frameworks (REST)

• Knowledge and experience of Azure DevOps (planning tools, source code management, pipelines etc.)

• Infrastructure as code, Azure ARM templates (Bicep)

• Among your skills are Docker Containers, Event Driven Architecture, Azure Hosting Services (App Services, Container Apps, Functions Apps) with experience in delivering RESTful APIs/Microservices

• Familiarity with the international context

• Day-to-day responsibilities require a good/excellent level of English to communicate with clients and colleagues from other countries

Nice to have / We can also help you to develop

• Relevant education at the bachelor's level or higher

• Postman (or similar tool for testing APIs)

• Experience with consumption of SOAP and REST services

• OAuth basic understanding

• Basic SQL and Azure table storage knowledge

Our promise to you

• Monthly salary: If you are employed in Latvia €3500 – €5500 gross. If you are employed in Lithuania €4100 - €6300 gross. If you are employed in Estonia €3200 - €5000 gross. The salary will be determined depending on your qualifications. (*Please note that the specific amount may vary due to different employment taxation in Baltic countries)
