The Opportunity
This position works onsite at our Alameda, CA location in the Lingo Division. Working on Lingo, you will help build a next-generation technology that enables individuals to make decisions about how to improve energy, lose weight or enhance athletic performance. The Lingo team embodies a start-up culture and mindset with the backing of Abbott, a company with a rich history of healthcare innovation.
What You’ll Work On
- Oversee implementing features across multiple platforms (Android/IOS/React Native)
- Implement Native (IOS and Android) features and React Native API bridge (turbomodules)
- Independently design and maintain large features.
- Lead initiatives and guide software engineers in execution.
- Own end-to-end delivery of projects.
- High quality deliverables with emphasis on scalability and testability.
- Strong coding, debugging, and design skills in line with best practices.
- Mentor software engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in software development, computer science, or a related engineering field.
- 5+ years of experience in iOS and Android development
- Experience with Swift UI, Jetpack Compose
- Debugging on IOS and Android
- Performance analysis on iOS and Android
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Flow, Coroutines or ReactiveX
- Strong Kotlin experience (Kotlin Multiplatform or Kotlin as backend is a strong plus)
- experience developing, documenting and maintaining a native (Android/IOS) library is a strong plus
- Bluetooth stack experience is a plus

$109,300.00 – $218,500.00
