The Senior Marketing Specialist will report directly to Chief of Staff & Head of Marketing, RTIMEA. This role is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive integrated marketing communication plan and associated programs to ensure all disciplines including PR, marketing, visuals, digital, social media, and events are working together in harmony.
The ideal candidate should be able to work with many stakeholders across the organization – balancing internal requests with proven best practices. Both creative and organized, this person is an effective storyteller, great writer and has worked across multiple marketing channels and closely with target audiences. Their goal is to help the teams across Elekta on how to push out their stories and the best way to engage across the globe.
What you’ll do at Elekta
As the Senior Marketing Specialist, your role will include but is not limited to:

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communications plans to drive results.

Partner with product marketers, product owners and sales to develop integrated marketing communications (IMC) strategies leveraging compelling content for product introduction, lifecycle activities and more.

Serve as the point person for program requests coming into Marketing Communications function; manage kick-off meetings, identify needs and best method to achieve goals, develop creative brief and collaborate with marketing services – both internal and external to execute.

Define measurements for programs in combination with Marketing Operations and effectively monitor and communicate progress to objectives within the organization.

Working with the data available and driving our data needs, the Senior Marketing Specialist should ensure we achieve data driven programs which requires acting as an advisor on key programs to ensure success and efficiency

Collaborate with key subject matter experts within Marketing Communications (web, social media, design and more) to ensure campaign success.

Ensure all marketing related arrangements and processes are in place and executed (speaker agreements, payments, PO creations etc.

Applies expertise in the areas of brand, persona-based marketing, channel alignment, and direct marketing to develop innovative marketing strategies.

Responsible for managing the program marketing communication budget.

Be the support partner with product marketing in the development of messaging in order to align with the brand, wider portfolio and local needs

Will share best practices across the Europe and Global team

Understand and support the brand vision through careful execution of the design, messaging, voice, and approach of all marketing efforts.

What you bring
-
Minimum 5-7 years of related marketing experience.

Experience in healthcare required, medical technology a preference
-
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree/equivalent work experience preferred
-
Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority
-
Experience working across cultures and internationally in a matrixed environment
-
This position requires up to 20% travel. Some of the travel is international
