The Sr. Marketing Communications Managers work closely with GPLMs, Regional Marketing, Branding and colleagues in the Marketing Operations Team team to develop and deliver high-impact marketing messaging and help launch products and solutions in defined markets.
This individual will contribute to the strategic assessment of new products, services, solutions and innovation by prioritizing and translating market and customer needs into differentiated value propositions; taking a solutions based approach coupled opportunistically with Account Based Marketing tactics.
Your responsibilities
- Serve as a marketing subject matter expert to enable the GPLMs and Sales team to effectively understand the customer buying journey and articulate the value of FLS Mining products, services and solutions
- Transform strategies and goals into an effective marketing plan and activities that create opportunities for increased sales and new business
- Follow-up on marketing budget spend
- Work with GPLMs and regional marketing in implementation of our marketing strategy through the development of initiatives that will help deliver leads to the business
- Responsible for the development and delivery of the content marketing plan supporting the customer journeys and marketing campaigns, across a range of formats, working with the global marketing team and sales
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to orchestrate the execution of awareness and lead generation campaigns and programs using digital marketing channels including email, nurture programs, search marketing, digital advertising and social media along with offline activities such as customer events and conferences
- In collaboration with Marketing Operations, analyze the results and effectiveness of campaigns to deliver actionable insights for optimization
- Responsible for all messaging, positioning and content creation for product, service and solution specific marketing and sales enablement, taking a solutions based approach and opportunistically working with an account based marketing approach
- Becoming a domain expert for customer use cases and industries through market research and close collaboration with GPLMs and Sales to understand their challenges, solutions and business needs
- Help define optimized website content to provide an engaging user experience supporting the customer journeys
- Plan and execute exhibitions and customer events and related budgets
- In collaboration with Regional Marketing, develop customer success studies
What you bring
- BS/BA Degree
- 3-5+ years of solid expertise in aspects of product marketing, go to market planning and execution, media, promotional tactics and campaign execution
- Excellent command of English- must be fluent in writing as well as spoken
- Comfortable and experienced in marketing and developing content for technical products and services, and communicating the benefits of engineering solutions & products
- Experience working with CRM systems and marketing automation tools
- Are commercially minded with the ability to develop marketing initiatives to drive business results
- Have a proven ability to work effectively with senior leadership, as well as teams in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment, often with virtual teams
- Have experience in working on projects across multiple geographies
- Experience in SEO
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop & InDesign is a plus)
