Senior Marketing Manager, India
Adyen is looking for an experienced, strategic self-starter with a proven track record in B2B marketing. This role will work from our Mumbai office and report directly to VP Marketing APAC based in Singapore.
The Senior Marketing Manager, India is responsible for creating Adyen’s marketing strategy in order to drive marketing goals with a heavy focus on new customer acquisition, spanning positioning and demand generation across owned, earned and paid channels. You will serve as a conduit between local commercial leadership teams and marketing teams on regional and global level.
The ideal candidate has a strong commercial mindset, is motivated to form an intimate understanding of Adyen’s business model and commercial organization and excellent communication skills. We are looking for an experienced marketer who thrives in an international environment, and who is passionate about coaching marketers to create successful programs throughout the funnel.
What you’ll do
- Manage goal setting, planning, spend allocation and team planning in India together with APAC marketing lead and local commercial leadership
- Position Adyen across a wide set of industries with a core focus on acquiring new customers through a strong integrated marketing strategy
- Collaborate with commercial teams (Sales, Account Management) to formulate targeted marketing strategies aimed at expanding our footprint within existing customer accounts while also identifying and acquiring new customers
- Plan, set-up and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across paid, earned and owned channels
- Develop compelling content for various platforms (digital, print, social media) that resonates with target audiences and drives engagement
- Be the local market expert and work closely with regional APAC Marketing & PR teams (Campaigns, Digital Marketing, Events, Content, PR) to surface country insights and customer success stories, aligning to ensure consistency in brand identity and narratives
- Drive and manage local media buying through either direct deals and/or agencies to support acquisition goals. Includes planning and optimizing marketing campaigns across paid digital media, email and owned channels
- Leverage analytics tools to determine effectiveness of campaigns across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams on local website pages and ongoing SEO optimisations
- Prepare quarterly and annual spend allocation for the Marketing initiatives, and continuously optimize ROI.
- Work closely with the global and APAC marketing leadership to ensure the successful implementation of global and regional initiatives
Your background:
- 7+ years’ experience in a multi-dimensional marketing role, with experience across the full marketing mix (owned, earned and paid).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, which allow you to quickly build rapport with teams across different markets
- You like to understand the ROI of marketing activities and foster an iterative way of working and learning to drive strong results.
- A strategic and commercial mindset, with a proven track record of liaising with commercial functions to deliver impactful marketing programs
- Fluent spoken and written English is a requirement
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 20%+
