We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our team. In this role, you'll be supporting our Life Insurance channel’s marketing team. This role is responsible for driving pipeline engagement and active customer pull-thru to achieve revenue goals. This position engages directly and influences varying levels of our client's internal stakeholders, requiring an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate is skilled at both B2B and B2C marketing:


B2B direct selling environments, assets, events, and advertising

B2C omni-channel marketing, measurement, and content development 


This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits for a remote worker within the U.S, preferably in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day client consultation, development and execution of campaigns, tactics and programs to drive life insurance policyholder engagement, utilization and uptake to attain revenue goals. 
  • Develop and gain adoption of data-driven, goal-focused, direct-to-consumer marketing plans, as well as creative go-to-market plans that provide clear performance metrics and can be continually optimized based on real-time outcomes.
  • Partner with internal and external centers of excellence (Email, Direct Mail, Digital, Operations) to develop, launch and measure new capabilities to unlock scalable marketing solutions.
  • Lead event marketing efforts to drive B2B/B2C engagement and utilization at client, industry and media events. 
  • Manage the life insurance marketing library including video, websites and collateral, for both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Partner with legal to ensure marketing and communication assets are regulatory and medically compliant and all legal processes are followed. 
  • Develop collaborative relationships with sales, implementation, and customer success to maximize the value we bring to our prospects and active client portfolio.
  • Serve as a passionate brand steward. Monitor changes in competitor brand positioning and stay up to speed on the latest innovations within the life insurance industry, particularly in Health & Wellness initiatives/platforms.
  • Ensure marketing communications are well positioned, consistent, and differentiated within the Life Insurance health benefit space.
  • Help lead the process of leveraging customer and patient insights - both qualitative and quantitative - to create compelling creative across a broad spectrum of communication tools, channels and tactics, that engage the target, and drive action.
  • Work closely with internal and external agency partners, to ensure they express the brand and its value proposition.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS with a minimum of 8+ years of campaign/ marketing experience. MBA is a plus.
  • Proficient in Adobe, project management tools similar to Asana, Microsoft/Google Suite.
  • Experience in hands-on campaign deployment including but not limited to email platforms digital/print media and direct mail. 
  • Experience in B2B/B2C marketing in healthcare or financial services, plus experience with partnerships, customer success and business development. 
  • Experience with effectively communicating and consulting with clients, particularly with life insurance marketing teams, decision makers and executives. (Required)
  • Experience developing content and messaging targeted at financial service customers or healthcare patients 
  • Experience with B2C marketing channels and formats (search, social, content marketing, customer journeys, and email/marketing automation) is required.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to drive results in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of entrepreneurially getting things done and growing responsibility over time.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, communication and presentation skills.
  • Willing and able to travel as needed, approximately 20%.

The expected, full-time, annual base pay scale for this position is $110K-$138K. Actual base pay will consider skills, experience, and location.


Based on the role, colleagues may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance, or an incentive plan. We also offer a long-term incentive plan to align company and colleague success over time.
