The Position
As the general project manager for Patient Support Solutions, the role focuses on not only leading projects but also conceptualizing and implementing solutions to drive operational efficiencies throughout the PSS organization. Additionally, the position entails serving as the product owner for pertinent solutions and as the Compliance and Legal lead to uphold integrity across PSS programs. This role also involves establishing operational strategies, systems, procedures, and processes to ensure operational excellence.
Relationships
Reports to the Director, PSS Transformation and Enablement Director. Works closely with other members of PSS, Finance, PCOR, Enterprise Insights, Procurement, Managed Markets, IT, Trade, Product Safety, Legal, and Compliance. External relationships include affordability and reimbursement assistance program vendors.
Essential Functions

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, systems, tools, and processes to achieve and maintain operational excellence across PSS.
  • Lead and manage projects within Patient Support Solutions to drive operational efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Act as the product owner for relevant solutions, overseeing their development, implementation, and optimization.
  • Maintain current and forward-thinking industry perspective & knowledge of best practices and benchmark on external trends.
  • Ensure operational processes are developed that adhere to the overarching business rules and that operations are tracked, measured, and audited to ensure compliance with Novo Nordisk requirements.
  • Ensure necessary framework, processes and business rules are in place to execute and manage operations across patient support platform
  • Identify and monitor relevant operational measurements and KPIs, as well as operational effectiveness of operational automations and services.
  • Proactively assess and recommend operational best practices and work to ensure standardization and efficiencies across Patient Support Programs team
  • Serve as the Compliance and Legal lead, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and integrity across all PSS programs.


Physical Requirements
0-10% overnight travel required.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from and accredited institution or equivalent is required. Masters preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in commercial operations, patient support, project management, analytics, or other related roles required. Pharmaceutical industry experience required
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced environment with a quality control focus and a documentation orientation
  • Creative problem-solving with ability to solve complex unstructured problems, and see opportunities through
  • Project Management and Quantitative analysis skills
  • Ability to lead and influence without authority and navigate within a matrix environment
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
